From April 1, 2024, Amazon is lowering storage fees for regular-sized items (Jan-Sep), saving you $0.09 per cubic foot! You'll see this change in your May 2024 bill for goods stored in April. No changes for big or extra-large items, or peak season fees for any size.
Amazon is also updating storage fees for Professional sellers with more precise tiers. Sellers with storage beyond 22 weeks will be affected, but inventory aged 0-30 days won't face the fee. You'll notice this change in May 2024 charges for storage in April.
Starting June 1, 2024, products auto-replenished by Amazon Warehousing get a surcharge waiver. This kicks in with July 2024 charges for storage in June.
As of February 15, 2024, there will be an increase in the aged inventory surcharge for items stored between 271 to 365 days. The surcharges for inventory stored between 181 to 270 days and inventory stored for 365 days or more will remain unchanged.
